Hermione: I looked at Harry. He looked slightly.... disappointed, or something similar. "Are you alright?" I asked, whispering.

Ron: "Well, this is turning into quite the party, isn't it?" I muttered.

Harry: I nodded, "No, I'm fine. I was just thinking."

Hermione: I nodded, knowing he was lying, but the way he'd said it made me not want to bother him more.

Andromeda: I looked over at Remus as the faint sound of crying came from upstairs. "Would you like to take care of it, or should I?" I asked him quietly.

Lupin: I shook my head, "I'll handle it," I said, going upstairs.

Ron: I looked at Sirius after watching Remus walk up the stairs, wondering where he was going. "Not meaning to be rude or anything, but why are you here?" I asked.

Sirius: "I've wanted to rejoin the rebellion ever since...." I stopped and looked around, "...but I haven't had the chance."

Hermione: I frowned. "Wanted to rejoin? If you were just in hiding, you never really left," I muttered, getting the same feeling I'd gotten earlier. Something was very, very wrong.

Sirius: I laughed, "Everyone thought that I was dead, Hermione. That isn't an active participant in any rebellion. What I meant by that, was that I wanted to be in the thick of it, planning against the Dark Lord. In hiding, I wasn't much of a help, especially because no one knew of my living existence."

Cho: The aura I was getting from Sirius was only getting stronger with his words. I looked at Hermione, Harry, and Ron. I sensed that they were picking up on it too.

Harry: I looked at Sirius. His explanations weren't adding up.

(Bah! Dang email notifications not coming through! )

Hermione: I shook my head. "That doesn't make sense, Sirius. If you'd only been in hiding, you were an active participant.... just doing all you could to help. Using the words 'Wanted to rejoin,' kills any ounce of belief I had in your story, if you'd have wanted to make any sense you'd have said that you wanted to join up with us again, come out of hiding, not rejoin." I turned to look at the others at the room imploringly. "I really think there's something wrong with this," I said. "Is there anything we can do to make sure he's still on our side?" I asked. "I may just be acting paranoid, but the Sirius I remember didn't ever slip with his words like that, if he wanted to say something he said exactly what he meant, he never had to correct himself, he was always perfectly clear..."

Cho: I nodded in agreement with Hermione. "I think there's something wrong too. I mean, I've never met Sirius before this, but I think everyone is feeling like this all isn't particularly veritable."

Lupin: I walked back down the stairs, "There are ways to find out, Hermione," I said, having listened to the entire conversation. "She's right, your story doesn't add up, even from what I have heard of it, and I am sure that they have heard more than I have."

(dun dun dunnnnnn)

Hermione: I nodded. "Why don't you show us your left arm?" I asked, realizing something.

Sirius: "Why my arm?"

Hermione: "Just do it," I sighed.

Sirius: "Why? I already proved myself to you."

Lupin: I drew my wand and walked over to him, "Sirius, show me your arm."

Sirius: "Moony, you know me," I said, taking my wand out.

Lupin: "No, Sirius. I don't know you. Not this side of you. How could you?"

Andromeda: "Remus!" I interjected. "We don't need more violence, not now... there's been plenty for today. Let him explain himself, why don't you?"

Lupin: I looked at Andromeda and laughed without humor, "Explain himself....."

Andromeda: "Did I stutter?" I asked, folding my arms.

Lupin: I turned back to the traitor, "You heard her as well as I did. Explain yourself."

Sirius: I shook my head, "I can't...."

Lupin: "You joined them. But did you once think of who you were hurting in the process? Whose memories you are insulting? What about everyone who has died in this second war? Or the first? What about James and Lily? Their son? You are pulling back all of their progress for what? For something that you can't even explain!"

Charlie (he hasn't talked in a while lol): "Why can't you explain? They way things are adding up now, it should be simple enough,"

Sirius: "This doesn't concern you!"

Charlie: "It concerns all of us,"

Lupin: "He's right. It concerns all of us here," I nodded.

Sirius: I shook my head, "No. The only person that any of this concerns is him," I pointed my wand at Harry.

Lupin: "Expelliarmus!" I flicked my wand at Sirius and caught his wand.
