Dark Arts Class

Ginny: I hurried into the DADA classroom, hoping that we weren't too late. I didn't recognize the teacher, but assumed he was a deatheater, most teachers these days were. I sighed and sat close to the back, hoping the others would follow my lead.

I walked in the classroom and something seemed very odd... It was empty. And the decor had changed a bit... The objects were darker... The room was only lit by candlelight...

"Is it my idea, or there were no deatheaters on our way here?" I asked Cho.

Ginny looked around the room carefully and placed her bag next to mine on a desk far in the back. The farther away from Snape, the better. "Something's wrong... I'm not sure what-" Ginny didn't get to finish the sentence. When I turned around I knew why too.

We entered the classroom in silence only to find no one there. No teacher, no students, no nothing. I checked the time while I listened to Luna and then Ginny respond. She stopped in the middle of her sentence. I turned around.

Carrow: I grinned as all three of the girls turned to look at me. I walked over to the door and shut it. "Very good. I noticed that the red-head saw me, but neither of you did. Perhaps those in Ravenclaw are not quite as smart as once thought..." I mused.

My eyes widened a bit when he spoke, and I looked away. He definitely had the appearance of a Death Eater. I took a seat near Ginny making sure to drag Amber along with me. She looked nervous.

Ginny: I bit my lip and looked at Cho and Luna. "Where's the rest of the class?" I asked, frowning.

I shrugged with my eyes on my desk. That teacher really gave me the creeps. When I heard the teacher moving away from the door, I glanced back. The door was locked. "It's just us," I whispered to Ginny in a bit of horror. This was going to be one uncomfortable class... that is if it was a class. My mind started racing through the possibilities and I rubbed temples for a second to calm myself. My heart was going at a million beats per second.

Carrow: I sighed, "I would really enjoy teaching you all about the Dark Arts, but that is not why I lingered here while my comrades met up with my master. So lets not dwell on the insignificant and get straight to the point." I looked between the three girls before I whipped out my wand and shouted "Expelliarmus!" I held out my hand as all three of their wands landed in my outstretched hand.

I practically jumped out of my seat and glared at him. "Hey!" I shouted. I think that was the first time I ever really glared at anyone, but nobody, nobody touched my wand! It was sort of like some girls' relationships with their hair I supposed. This guys was getting on my nerves, and honestly I was getting on my own nerves too not listening to my instincts. I stood from my chair in frustration but really what were we going to do without our wands? Damn it.

Ginny: I glared at the man at the front of the room, trying not to show fear. He was outnumbered, obviously he had four wands now, but.... still, being outnumbered had to count for something. "Well, what do you want with us then?" I asked. "We haven't actually done anything!"

Carrow: I smiled at the girl, "Oh, but you are all friends of Harry Potter, are you not?"

ginny: I considered for a moment, wondering whether or not to deny that. But, I was more loyal than that. "Yes, so what? Guilt by association?" I scoffed, folding my arms.

Carrow: "Do not play games with me. You know that I know that you know where he is."

Ginny: "Was that meant to confuse us?" I asked, not feeling nearly as confident or bold as I sounded. "I mean really, you can only successfully use the word 'know' so many times in a sentence and make it come across as remotely understandable," I told him, looking him straight in the eyes.

Carrow: "Is that a challenge?" I smirked, "Where is Harry Potter?"

I was staring back at my desk now went I noticed something. I sighed and sat back down casually looking defeated and waited for the right moment... This man was not very bright, not very bright at all.

Ginny: I smiled. "I have absolutely no idea, you can even use the veritaserum if you'd like, you'll find I'm not lying,"

Carrow: "Is he somewhere in the school right now?"

Ginny: "I don't know that either, I haven't seen him," I shrugged.

Carrow: I looked at the other two girls.

I shrugged. "Not a clue."

Carrow: "Hm. Alright. I would hurry and get out of here. My friends and I will patrol the corridors if that is what the Dark Lord commands of us." I said before unlocking the door and walking out.

Ginny: I looked at Luna and Cho, not sure what to say or do. "So, should we go to our common rooms, then?" I asked hesitantly. When they both nodded, I turned on my heel and quickly went to the Gryffindor Common Room.

I looked at Cho. "So what should we do? Should we go to our commons as well?" I asked her. "I think I've learned how to cast the camouflage spell so I may be able to make us hide in the castle so we can find Harry and Hermione... What do you think?"
