The Tonks Home

Ginny: "And I'm Ginny... but I'm guessing you knew that," I said, smiling a little.

Andromeda: "It's nice to meet you Amber, and you as well Ginny. You're both Gryffindor, aren't you?" I asked, more of a statement, it was obvious enough. I knew a Gryffindor when I saw one.

Amber: I nodded, "Yes ma'am." I bit my lip and shifted my weight to my other leg.

Ginny: I nodded as well. "What House were you in at Hogwarts?" I asked, trying to keep a conversation going, even if it felt a little forced.

Andromeda: I laughed. "Slytherin," I said, waiting, wondering what their reactions would be.

Amber: I looked at Andromeda and wrinkled my nose. Ew Slytherin, I thought.

Ginny: "Really?" I asked, a little nervously. "Well, you certainly seem much kinder than most Slytherins,"

Tonks: I snorted. "You haven't seen her angry,"

Amber: I wanted to chuckle, but held it in. This wasn't a laughing manner.

Andromeda: "To be honest, most Slytherins aren't really all that mean, it's more of a pride thing... you know... purebloods thinking they're superior and all that?"

Amber: I looked at Andromeda and nodded. "I understand and I think you're right."

Tonks: "I honestly still think it's just because Slytherins and Gryffindors hate each other, and Slytherins like to pick on other kids. They think Gryffindors are 'favored', at least that's what I've heard...."

Amber: I looked at Tonks and bit my lip. Tonks had a point too, I thought.

Andromeda: I shook my head. "I never hated any Gryffindor, but that doesn't really matter now." I said, standing up. "I'm assuming none of you have eaten yet?"

Amber: "You assume correct." I chuckled and heard my stomach growl.

Andromeda: "Well, if you didn't even have time to eat you were in more of a rush than you let on," I said with a slightly amused smile.

Amber: I chuckled. "We were in a rush.." I, slightly, glanced at Ginny.

Ginny: "To be honest, it's been so chaotic the past day that I hadn't even realized we hadn't eaten," I laughed

Tonks: "I agree with Ginny. It's been so busy,"

Andromeda: "We'll have to take care of that then, won't we?" I laughed.

Amber: I nodded, agreeing with Ginny. "Food sounds delicious right now." I chuckled.

Andromeda: I nodded. "Come on," I said and started walking to the kitchen.

Tonks: I jumped up and followed her to the kitchen.

Ginny: I looked at Amber, and waited for her.

Amber: I looked at Ginny and nodded. I walked towards the kitchen after Tonks.

Lupin: I waited until they had all left before I walked toward the protective barriers, getting ready to leave.

Tonks: When I realized Remus wasn't following us, and that he'd gone outside, I spun around (almost colliding with Amber and Ginny) and ran after him, careful not to trip. "You really think you're going to slip away that easily, do you?" I asked, with a half smile.

Ginny: I watched Tonks leave the house, then shrugged and walked with Amber to the kitchen.

Lupin: I turned and smiled at her, "It was worth a try."

Tonks: I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Sure it was." I told him, before growing more solemn. "Please be careful, alright?"

Lupin: I nodded, "I usually am."

Tonks: I rolled my eyes. "Usually?"

Lupin: Amusement flashed in my eyes, "I haven't died yet, have I?"
